There will be a full page advert that offers you instant riches overnight. But there will be nowhere to sign up for any information before you decide. You will probably be given a 'one time low price' that will expire at midnight.
Once you have paid your money you will receive at best, an e-Book which you could probably get free anywhere on the web. At worst, you will receive nothing and no way to get your money back. However, that leaves 10% that are honest business people who want to help you succeed in making money. More often than not, these people have made their fortune on the web and want to give something back by offering money making opportunities and helping others do the same.
One of the first and most important rules when searching for a web business is not to pay anything before receiving some information about the opportunity and what it offers. Scams on the web very rarely offer any information without asking for your money first! A genuine money making opportunity will offer you information, usually by you signing up to a list, so that you can see what you will receive for your money.
Also, will you receive any training, tuition or support? Is there a mentor or coaching program to help you learn the basics such as advertising, keywords research and attracting traffic to your online business? Most of us start a money making opportunity eager to start earning money and are surprised when a couple of months later we fail and give up altogether. The business failed because you had little or no knowledge of how to gain traffic, advertise or any of the other work you have to do to be successful on the web.
A mentor or coach gives you a good chance of being a success by providing help and support. Is there a contact telephone number or email provided, along with the name of the contact? If you have queries about the opportunity you will be able to contact the owner of the business for advice and support.
All above are important when looking for genuine money making opportunities. Use your own judgment, if it feels genuine it probably is. If it seems too good to be true and asks for cash before giving information, then run! But you need to remember, there are a lot of people out there who are honest and want to help you make money on the Internet, whilst earning money themselves.
